This is a beautiful B&B

My and husband and I loved it there. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. It was a great experience. Sandy and her staff are very nice and friendly. Our room was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed sitting by the fire, drinking the complimentary wine that was in our room when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious... We definitely are planning to go there again and stay. We have recommended this place to our friends. It's a great place to get away and relax....

This is a beautiful B&B

We spent three nights at this lovely B&B, and would definitely go back again. The ocean view from our room was beautiful, and Sandy the owner was delightful and very accommodating. We loved the quiet, relaxed atmosphere, and the breakfast was good and plentiful.

Best Value on Hwy. One

Stayed at North Coast Country Inn last week. My mom & I were greeted by Sandy and dog Reggie. Sandy was good enough to offer an early check-in for us. Our room was just delightful. We enjoyed a glass of wine(complimentary) by the fire before dinner. The beach is just a short walk down a steep staircase across Hwy. 1. Sandy fixed a terrific breakfast the next morning which included homemade quiche & chocolate croissants. I highly recommend this inn!!!

What a (Re)Treat to stay at the North Coast County Inn

This was my third stay at the North Coast Country Inn and all I can say is that I just love it. I have had the pleasure to stay in 3 out of the 6 rooms available and each one of them has been beautifully decorated. One of then even seems to be haunted! There are also 2 rooms that accommodate travelers with pets. And the beds are so cozy you will not want to get up ;-)

On my next trip to Gualala I will definitely stay at the North Coast Country Inn again.

If you're looking to relax and be super comfy--this is a great spot! From the jacuzzi under the stars to the down comforter---even Sandy's cute dog, Reggie--you're going to remember how to appreciate the small things in life.

DO NOT MISS This Absolutely PERFECT, SPOTLESS Inn with fabulous breakfasts -- should be a FOUR DIAMOND-Rated Lodging!

If traveling south along Highway 1, this beautiful inn will be on your left hand side just north of Anchor Bay/Gualala. If traveling north along Highway 1, this treasure will be on your right just slightly north of Anchor Bay/Gualala. The innkeepers are thoroughly conscientious with attention to detail; their rooms are elegant and delightfully comfortable. This is a place you won't want to leave -- the best either north or south of Gualala/Anchor Bay.

Absolutely Wonderful

We spent two nights at this perfect "get away" destination. Phil, Sandy, and Reggie (dog) are very warm, welcoming family. The room was great, clean, and full of things to do. We had tons of books and magazines to read by the fire. The breakfast(s) were delicious and ready when we wanted to have them. We loved this place and cannot wait to visit again‎.

North Coast Country Inn is a true escape

We just spent two nights in the Gallery room with our two dogs and can't wait to go back. We started to relax just upon entering the property. The setting is serene and the grounds expansive. Gallery has a wonderful deck that gets the morning sun and has a bit of an ocean view. The room itself is spacious yet cozy. Two comfortable chairs flank the fireplace, and the canopied bed is quite comfortable. You can even hear nearby sea lions from the meadow.

Phil and Sandy are fabulous hosts. Not only do they think of all the the special things -- a bottle of wine, chocolates, water and juice in the fridge -- but they are warm and friendly people, who shared tips on dog-friendly beaches and hikes as well as good places for dinner. We enjoyed getting to know them as we devoured Sandy's delicious breakfasts. Reggie hosted our dogs to a romp in the meadow, but our dogs loved Phil and Sandy just as much.

We are looking forward to our next visit.

Loved it!

We visited North Coast Country Inn for our 20th anniversary and couldn't have been happier. Our room was clean and so nice with a fireplace and private deck. The grounds are pretty and lush, with lots of trees and floweres. Beaches are close!

Breakfast was delicious with a good assortment to choose from. Phil and Sandy are super friendly and welcoming. You leave there feeling like you've visited friends. We'll certainly go back another time...thank you!!

They are pet friendly as well.

The most beautiful place. You just have to visit here.

This is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. The North Coast Country Inn is a beautiful B&B just outside of Gualala. The six individual rooms are all decorated to a very high standard and have fireplaces and kitchenettes. There's also a great selection of books and board games to utilise and other nice little touches of complimentary wine and chocolates on arrival. The Innkeepers, Sandy and Phil, provide wonderful hospitality, not to mention great breakfasts! The surroundings are beautiful and you can't help but forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life whilst you soak in the (private) hot tub staring at the stars! I will most certainly be back soon.

We spent two nights here last weekend, for our 20th anniversary.  Phil and Sandy are so sweet, and very gracious and helpful.  We felt like we were visiting friends for the weekend!  They took the time to sit and chat with us, let us see some of the other rooms and basically made us feel like we were guests in their home.

The Gallery Room was spacious, clean and we loved the little deck to relax on.  The gas fireplace made for two cozy evenings.  Reggie the dog was so friendly and we enjoyed visiting with him on our deck.  :)

Both breakfasts were delicious...with an egg dish, pastries and fruit, plus coffee and juices.

We had a wonderful time here and plan to go back again.  Highly recommended!!  Thank you Phil and Sandy for your hospitality!

WOW - What an amazing place

If you want to get away from it all then this is the place to head to. The surrounding coast line is amazing and the surroundings at the Inn and the hospitality are amazing. I would certainty recommend this as a stay for anyone seeking R&R. And don't forget the excellent food.

The best bed & breakfast I've ever been to, and they seem to do it effortlessly. The house dog, Reggie, greeted me as I opened my car door. Our room was enormous and perfectly decorated. The food was great and the hospitality better than you'll find anywhere. Phil was away and Sandy did an excellent job overseeing everything one man down. After a few days, she felt less like our host and more like a friend.

In addition to everything mentioned above, the grounds are huge. You can stroll up a few levels and you're on a big stretch of grass seemingly away from everything. I sat and read a large chunk of my book in about half the time it would normally take. And in eyes view was the house hot tub.

Perfect.
